Children's Ministries Coordinator: Robin Stewart
About Robin:
Robin has been serving the Lord for the last 25 years as a Sunday School teacher. Scappoose Foursquare has been blessed to have her for the last four years as the head of Children's Ministry. Her vision for the children is that they have a loving relationship with Him.
Robin says, “Our goal is to equip them with God's truth. The lives of children are simple, so as they grow into our complicated world, the Word will be the firm foundation on which they can learn to stay strong and grounded.”
Our teachers utilize Bible teaching, crafts, worship, and group games to teach our kids truth and train them to worship God. We have Sunday classes for infants through sixth grade during the adult worship service. We also have fun outings throughout the year such as PJ Pancake Breakfasts, Game Nights, Vacation Bible School, and Summer Camp.
We also enjoy doing service oriented projects. The children participate in canned food drives, visiting the Senior Center, and Christmas Caroling. This gives them hands on opportunities to cultivate a servant's heart towards our community.
